I can relate to that the road through town is being repaved one pothole
Post by Timm ThiemannI really don't have the slightest idea about that... so I did a search
for Harleys from the 1990s on www.mobile.de ("Motorräder suchen" on the
left) and got 464 hits... starting at ~1500EUR... last hit is almost
50000EUR.
I got my bike driver's licence 11 years ago but never touched a bike
since then. No money in the beginning, then too few time, then my spine
started to be a problem... last year my doc said I wasn't even allowed
to think about driving a bike. Otherwise I'd end up in a wheelchair
sooner or later ("but probably sooner"). :-(
Post by MickThe appraisal on the bike is $32,000 and is insured for said amount
the paint is $2,800 etc, etc. The price of bikes is so far out of line it
just blows me away
the last bike I built was a 1956 Panhead a beautiful old school chopper in
the early 80's and the initial
basket case was $500.00 and I don't think I put more than 3 or 4 grand into
the finished product. I hope I can sell this bike before the bottom falls
out of the market. are bikes (Harleys and the like) as expensive there as
they are here?

Post by Timm ThiemannPost by MickThe picture of the complete bike is before the accident but to answer your
question by the time I got stoped I was only going about 10 MPH thats
why
I
only got brused and it only did about $4,000.00 in damage
ONLY $4k! Mwuharhar! _ONLY_!!!1!
